Bouillet's Atlas Universel d'Histoire et de Geographie, published in Paris by the Librairie Hachetter, 1877. A copy of the Atlas title page is included for authenticity. The engraving company 'Grave Chez Erhard, 12 R. Duguay Trouin" is printed in the bottom left margin and the name of the map designer, Ed. Dumas-Vorzet [Eduard], appears in the bottom right, with the Hachette Company address in the bottom center. It is blank on the reverse with a centerfold as issued. It is being sold as a single sheet, not matted nor framed, as shown in the pic. Size: The map image measures approximately 8 by 10 inches on a 9 1/2 by 11 1/4" page with a margin all around for matting. Condition: It is in Very Good condition for its age with only very light overall tonal ageing and a centerfold as issued, basically as seen in the pics. There is some light browning on reverse, otherwise the map is very clean and would frame up nicely. The pics are of the actual map and very close to the actual color and toining, although the actual maps generally look better.
