Rare first edition of this set of proclamations by the Boston City Council and Mayor Lincoln of Boston honoring the untimely death of President Lincoln 2 days before. The main proposals resolved at this soecial meeting were that the city be draped in mourning for the period of 30 days including Faneuil Hall and the surrounding neighborhoods , and a Committee be assembled to deliver a eulogy at the funeral of Lincoln in Washington DC headed by Charles F. Dana, with speeches, resolutions, etc. Printed three days after the assassination, very few copies recorded. Very good condition.
