Description: This is a rare early redware pottery 3 sided pinch bottle hand made in the mid 1800s....It was hand thrown on a potter's wheel and has 3 pinched in sides to make it easier to grip....short tapered lip....6 1/2"tall x 3 1/2"across base....greenish colored slip glaze with white specks ...Excellent shiny nice condition with only a couple small glaze nicks on very bottom; no chips, hairlines or other damage. A shiny clean bottle with no stain.
