Description: Scarce and interesting - 1859 Plan of Jerusalem and its Environs. A very attractive and incredibly detailed plan! Many interesting landmarks on this plan, from the "Jebel Deir Abu Tor" which translates to, "Hill of Evil Counsel" - Valley of the Kidron - Damascus gate - gate of Herod - Church of the Holy Sepulchre - and many more sites & landmarks... I was unable to find a comp for this plan / map using google, appears to be really scarce. Overall very good condition, just some toning & staining - as evidenced by the pictures. Dimensions (overall including matting / sight lines only) : Width ~ 14.6" / ~10.9" Height ~ 12.8" / ~9" Shipping: USPS + fully insured. I will also gladly combine shipping when multiple maps are purchased together, not to mention the price discount for buying additional maps - on map listings that are marked as such.
