Description: 1854 is a tougher type two three cent silver, but very few show this date repunching. The repunching is best seen by an extra arc at the bottom of the date between the 8 and 5. There is very light clashing on both sides, and the strike is very strong. This coin was once in the Hansen collection of complete us coins, so you know it is exceptional. I think this could actually have graded higher since I don't see any other marks in the fields other than clash marks. CAC agreed this is a PQ coin. As usual, my pictures don't do this beautiful coin justice. This is part of a very high end collection that I have recently acquired. I will be listing some here, but check out my web site for others. Thanks, StevePennywiseRC
