Description: For your consideration is this 1847 Rogers Bros silver plate dinner fork in the "Olive" pattern, ca 1848. Pre Civil War, folks! The fork is 7 1/4" long; the tines themselves are 2 1/8" long. There is no monogram and just a little heel wear. A few little dings on the tines, and a very small discolored area on the edge of the handle; not bad for being "only" 176 years old! ALL of the silverplate that I sell has been cleaned and polished. I may, at times, buy some that is kind of grubby, but you aren't going to get it that way. I pride myself on sending clean items, whether it be silver plate or something else. Honest descriptions also. I appreciate you looking, and please check out my other auctions for more silver plate plus other eclectic and interesting items. I am more than glad to combine shipping.
