Description: 1824 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-107. Rarity-2. AU-50 (PCGS). Blanketing the obverse, blended blue-gray and copper-apricot toning is rather tightly confined to the periphery on the reverse. A partially lustrous, boldly defined AU with scattered abrasions that include a thin, yet mentionable graze over and before Liberty's portrait. PCGS# 6137. This coin was sold at the March 2011 Baltimore Auction and sold for $515. This is an amazing type coin for any type collector. All coins are packaged with care and shipped the next day.
