Description: PCGS authenticated and graded AU 58+. The obverse is a very attractive medium brown and light chocolate with mint frost covering the protected areas. The reverse is a mix of frosty light to medium brown and olive. MDS with several die cracks on the reverse and the right top of the first T in STATES clearly raised towards the rim. A sharp, frosty cent but there is an obvious nick on the jaw plus a few trivial nicks elsewhere on the obverse An important cent, frosty and attractive in spite of that nick on the jaw. Clearly among the finest known of this tough die variety.Ex; James E. Long 9/18/2012 - John Pijewski Year - 1817Variety - N-17Rarity - 4+
