What sets us apart from the rest: We offer a DOA policy where many do not. We also offer 99.9% leech free worms. Leeches can be very small and difficult to remove, more than likely if your order comes with a leech or 2 they will be stuck to the bag but we do our absolute best to remove leeches prior to shipping. These worms are fresh, fat and juicy. You will typically receive in excess of the count you order, the count is absolute minimum for “dry” weight taken with XL worms, this means if the worms are smaller, you will be receiving 2-4x the count offered. Please message us with any questions prior to ordering.Care: They can live in substrate of most freshwater aquariums, breaking down detritus, uneaten food, stirring substrate and replicating offering surprise snacks for any fish who happen upon them. They are best stored in a lidded but not air tight container at least 4" tall, in half inch or less of dechlorinated water in the refrigerator. Plastic Blackworm keepers are great for storage. Do not allow them to clump in a large (Golf Ball size or larger) ball for considerable amounts of time as they will suffocate the worms at the center. They can be fed standard fish food but not necessary when kept in the refrigerator or fish tank. Rinse refrigerated worms with dechlorinated water of same/similar temp only at least once daily. Shipping: Please check the 10 day forecast prior to ordering, if local temps highs are exceeding 80 degrees within that time frame, we may delay the order until temps are ideal or cancel the order if the temps are not foreseeably agreeable.
