Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) Can the sealer be sanded?This sealer can be sanded after approximately three (3) hour of curing time, but frankly, it is not designed to sand (and therefore it does not sand well). For applications where you want to sand, our UP-61 primer surfacer is a better choice. Can I use this sealer on bare metal?We do not recommend using this sealer on bare metals. Our EP-21 Epoxy Primer should be used on bare metal applications. Can I use this as a low gloss topcoat?It can be left uncoated as a low gloss topcoat; however, our SlikPhlats low gloss single stage is designed to be used as a topcoat and will hold up better. SlikPhlats is also available in many more colors.
