The success of any product from any company depends also on the weather conditions when painting, skill of the painter and the equipment. Does this clear hold up to gasoline?Yes, once cured this clear offers excellent resistance to incidental contact from gas, and diesel fuels. How fast does it dry?We generally recommend waiting 24 hours before the clear is handled, wet sanded and polished. Depending on air movement and temperatures allow to flash 10-20 minutes between coats.Does this clear contain UV protectant?Yes, this clear is designed with both durable resins which are augmented by special uv absorbers and light stabilizers to screen out UV light which increases the life span of the product.
