I have shown it with a simple diamond wrap enhancer, as well as a baguette and round diamond wedding band in the photos. Both are listed separately AND ARE JUST FOR DISPLAY AND NOT INCLUDED IN THIS LISTING. (A bit of history: This engagement ring was purchased in an estate parcel with the diamond wrap in the pictures, AND the baguette and round diamond wedding band I have listed separately. The woman who owned them interchanged them, sometimes wearing the engagement ring with the band, and sometimes with the wrap.) Ok, back to this ring! The center diamond is natural and NOT ENHANCED. It measures 5.9 mm and is quite deep (could not get under it to measure the depth). Our experienced estate jeweler estimates its weight at approximately .75 ct maybe a little more. It is very white in color, and graded I-1 to I2 in clarity. It does have some visible inclusions primarily around the outer portions of the stone. It still has really nice sparkle! It is set in a sturdy six-pronged head. The mounting contains two tapered baguette diamonds, on on each shoulder, which add some additional diamond weight to the ring. The head rises 3/8" off the hand. The ring is not marked but tests positive for 14k gold, guaranteed. It weighs 2.4 grams, is a size 4.25, and is in very good pre-owned condition. The ring can be sized by a competent jeweler. **Because of different gold testing practices, (traditional acid and stone test vs. eBay's Authenticity Guarantee electronic gold testing machine), items stamped 14k may read or actually be between 13.5k-15k gold. Until 1981, manufacturers of jewelry could use gold that was 13.5 karat or higher and round off, thus still stamping it 14k.
