Description: This set is designed to fit the Monogram 1/32 scale Sturmgeschutz IV model kit. For anyone just starting to model German tanks, or returning to the hobby and have the Monogram kit in your stash, this zimmerit set will allow you to stretch your skills a little bit and customize the tank to represent one with the commonly seen coating used in Normandy, Italy and Russia. The Monogram kit builds into a decent example of this famous German tank with a parts count far less than other super detailed 1/35 scale kits. If you collect "Toy Soldiers" or work with figures produced in 1/32 scale, you know that 1/35 scale tanks don't really work with them and the Monogram kit fills a void there. The Monogram kit and our zimmerit can provide some enjoyable modeling time, especially if you want to achieve the zimmerit effect in an easy process.Included are two rear plate pieces to accommodate the bump depicting a radio aerial pot, copied from the PZ IV example at Aberdeen, but probably inaccurate for this tank. You can build it as is using the notched rear piece, or cut off the aerial pot and cover the gap with the full piece. No special tools or glues are needed. We recommend priming the model and using ordinary white glue (PVA). You can easily add chips and battle damage before or after applying the zimmerit to the model.Full instructions are included.
