Description: This Tarrant County Grayson formation turrilite ammonite came from a Grayson formation creek bank in South Fort Worth in 2023. I discovered this fossil as is true of all of the fossils I sell. There is a partial smaller turrilite attached and several other fossils and imprints. It’s the biggest one I’ve ever found. Unfortunately it’s missing 1-2 whorls on top, imagine how big the complete turrilite would have been!
