Birds with silken feathers are not a mix of Cochin and silkie. They are pure bred Cochins. *Note: they have yellow skin, 4 toes and no head crest* Currently the Cochin flocks are combined, so you will hatch smooth, silkied, and split to silkied Cochins. There is a wide variety of color in the group including: calico, blue calico, buff, blue, splash, Columbian, white. The eggs will be collected no more than 3 days prior to shipping! I candle EVERY egg I ship to make sure it is free of cracks or defects and I try to send only the cleanest eggs available to avoid poopy eggs in your incubator! I ship with foam shippers, double boxed, and secure with proper labeling on all boxes. I cannot guarantee hatch rates due to USPS handling, delayed shipping and incubation parameters and handling once the eggs leave my hands, but I can guarantee thorough packaging and do my best to ensure the eggs arrive safely and ready to incubate.
