The flexible properties can be a curse and blessing with small parts, they don't break easily but do bend. The material has a slight texture which can smoothed be sanding or gentile application of a heat gun (WARNING: a heat gun can melt nylon so be cautious when applying heat. The nylon has been designed to absorb color inks (for color printing) and thus holds paint well. We still suggest a good primer coat.
