This mala is handmade by me with 108 6mm natural Sibucao Wood beads. *Sibucao is a natural hard redwood with a beautiful red-orange or orange colored wood. If used for jewelry, sibucao wood will darken and become even more beautiful with age as it absorbs oils from the skin. They are mainly burnt orange shades. Please note that since they are natural, some beads may seem light or darker than others. In addition, your screen colors may vary. These beads are lightweight and smooth with a tight wood grain. They have an understated polish which allows them to retain a very natural and organic appearance. Do not wear this mala while swimming or taking a shower. When wood beads become wet, they can crack. The markers are Sibucao beads in 15mm size. The guru bead is the Sandalwood Happy Buddha holding a fan, which is approximately 28mm21mmx18mm in size. He is cute, round, and chubby. :) This Buddha is tied in place with a high quality gold filled 14kt bead. This mala is strung with high quality burgundy colored nylon cord to make it sturdy.
