Description: 10 SILVER COLORED METAL CLIP ON SWIVEL CANDLE HOLDERS, VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS TREE. This auction is for a lot of 10 vintage silver colored metal clip-on candle holders that can be fastened to the branches of a Christmas tree. Clips with lighted candles were how Victorian-era Christmas trees were lit up prior to the creation of electrical holiday lights. The clip measures 1” long – the entire length (with holder) is 1 1/2” x 1” wide. Made of metal, they are vintage and show some wear, but work as intended. The candle opening is ½” wide.
