Please kindly inform me of the weather in your area if the temperature is expected to be outside the 40-90F range, I can make arrangements accordingly such as delay shipping or shipping with next day air (EXTRA CHARGE MAY APPLY). I do this as a hobby and unfortunately do not have time to always check the weather for each package. If the algae arrives dead due to extremely hot/cold weather and I did not get a warning ahead, I can still send a replacement but at the buyer's shipping cost (for Priority and Fedex shipping only). DOA policy: DOA is only covered for Priority Mail and FedEx 2day Shipping service. USPS Ground (average 4-5 business days) makes things very unpredictable. Please take into consideration of your local weather when choosing the shipping method. If your algae arrives dead/stressed (e.g. discolored water, strong odor), please take a photo with the algae still in the original package and reach out to me within 3 hours of the delivery. Messaging me a few days after delivery with the dead algae will not get a refund or replacement, hope you understand my difficulty as a small business. Let the package sitting under the sun / in the mailbox during very hot / cold days can quickly kill the algea, so please try to check the package as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding! Hitchhikers: I raise all my macro algae in my "clean" tank along with my display fish and corals. This clean tank takes in anything with a strict quarantine procedure. So all my macros are free of those famous pests/diseases, including ich, velvet, fluke, aiptasia, flatworms. I will clean out any hitchhikers I see from the macros before shipping. Possible hitchhikers remaining on the macro algae include brittle starfish, bristle worm, spirorbid worm, pod. Shipping: Macros will be shipped in small box or bubble mailer without cool/heat packs. Packages ship on Mondays and Wednesdays. I also have other macro algae available at budget price (see the listing in my profile). Shippings can be combined across listings and extra shipping charges will be refunded.
