The design also includes a "privy" mark of a stylized gear, representing industry and innovation. The reverse design features a prairie grass and a field of soil below. Inscriptions are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", " STEEL PLOW," and ILLINOIS. The year of minting, 2024, mint mark-D, and inscription "E PLURIBUS UNUM" are incused on the edge of the coin. The dollar coins are made from a blend of zinc, manganese, nickel and copper. 8.100 grams, 1.043 inches in diameter, edge is lettered.
